Moral Dilemas

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/ewaldheinrich-von-kleist-the-man-who-volunteered-to-wear-a-suicide-vest-to-kill-hitler-dies-aged-90-8532225.html

Interesting how one wishes that this man had suceeded.

The von Stauffenberg, bomb that might have killed Hitler would surely have been a sucess if von Stauffenberg had stayed in the room with Hitler and sacrificed himself.  Unfortunately he left the room and the bomb was moved, saving Hitlers life.

There is little doubt in my mind that had Hitler been killed that the Second World War in Europe would have been over sooner and many lives would have been saved.

Challanges one view of what is morally right, doesn't it ?
